WANTED: Cliff Burton-Type Bassist for New Project – THE METALLICARS Warsaw-based. But for the right chug spirit, we’ll travel. We are starting a new hybrid band called The Metallicars — fusing the tight, robotic new wave cool of The Cars with the early groove and emotion of Metallica (only 1987 and earlier — no Black Album nonsense). This is not a joke. This is not cosplay. This is tone religion. We’re serious. But not assholes. This is for people who believe that a palm-muted rhythm and a crying bass note can break hearts and melt speakers.
